Joanne Nesbitt, Author
Here it is another day to honor those men and women who gave their lives for our country. It’s a day to be proud of our loved ones, but it a day of sadness. It’s sad because if it weren’t for the wars, our loved ones may still be with us. But, the dichotomy of this statement is that we might not be free.  Freedom comes at a high price. This price was paid for by our military men and women and also by their families.
Agent Orange robbed us of more time that we could have spent with our loved ones. That extra ten to twenty years would be precious to each one of us. Between the high number of suicides and the high divorce rate, PTSD, made our family member leave us way too soon.
So it is with sadness, that we celebrate Memorial Day and it is with pride and joy that we celebrate the lives of our brave men and women who have gone way too soon.  Freedom carries at a  huge price tag that we all have paid dearly for and it is today that we celebrate that sacrifice.
So let us salute our flag, remember those brave men and women who gave their lives for freedom and let today be a reminder that FREEDOM comes at a cost.
Let us thank the brave men and women in our armed services. Let us appreciate the high cost they are paying for our FREEDOM. Let us celebrate this great country and all the FREEDOM we have!
“The brave men and women, who serve their country and as a result, live constantly with the war inside them, exist in a world of chaos. But the turmoil they experience isn’t who they are; the PTSD invades their minds and bodies.”
― Robert Koger, Death’s Revenge

Let us remember the brave men and women who gave their lives so we could live free.!
